They call the Syma S 107 a mini RC Helicopter. It is very small. At 17.8 x 7.5 x 3 inches it fits into the palm of your hand. The more experience you gain from this one, the bigger you can go, if your budget allows it.
The box says 14+, but I think anyone can fly the Helicopter without to many problems.Just do it indoors and watch out for the rotor wash and you will be fine. You will not be able to put it down!! This is so much fun, if the batteries lasted longer tan 8 minutes, I would be playing with it all day and never get anything done!
