Steering Wheel Radio Control Lights
The lighted steering wheel controls for radio and cruise control on my ’03 jetta began flashing suddenly. Why?
There is a push button switch for turning them on and off on the back of the steering wheel (hard to see, but you can feel it with your finger)
it is possible that you were pressing it by mistake, or that there is a problem with this switch, try playing with it and see what happens. It will not likely be your spiral module, as that is only for the horn and the airbag, a short would turn on the airbag light.
