Saab bluetooth/navigation questions?
I am looking at buying a Saab 9-3 within the next year or so, the 08-09 years. i know a small window but i love the Saab 9-3 aero with the turbo V6 and the 10+ have a turbo 4. I have found it hard to find an Aero package with the optional navigation. If I was to buy anyway a Saab without the optional navigation could i purchase from a saab dealer the navigation unit and have them install it in my saab? also with the bluetooth, i have noticed that the steering wheel has the bluetooth buttons to make a call and end a call. Does the standard radio unit without navigation have bluetooth? or is it with the navigation unit, and can it work with the steering wheel controls?
I’ve actually looked into the same thing for my 9-5. Adding navigation would cost *at least* $4000… so either try and find one with factory navigation already installed, or spend $200 on a Garmin/TomTom/whatever navigation dealie. They are better in many respects compared to factory navigation, but just are harder to integrate cleanly into your dash.
Look for a 9-3 Turbo X model. That should get you everything you want and more.
