Creationists, do you have radio-controlled clocks? Do you find them accurate?
Radio-controlled clocks receive a time signal from a transmitter, which is controlled by an atomic clock. So is the speaking clock. Now, if — as you often claim, in the fond hope of discrediting radiometric dating techniques which point to the Earth being billions of years old — radioactive decay was not steady and predictable, then atomic clocks should keep lousy time.
But they don’t; as you can prove to yourself by placing a radio-controlled clock next to a good pendulum clock.
So how do you reconcile the accuracy of atomic clocks with the supposed variability of radioactive decay rates?

Atomic clocks DO NOT use radioactivity, but rather the precise microwave signal that electrons in atoms emit when they change energy levels. Early atomic clocks were based on masers. Currently, the most accurate atomic clocks are based on absorption spectroscopy of cold atoms in atomic fountains such as the NIST-F1.
