How much should I sell my car for?
Here’s the deal. I am going to Navy boot camp in 2 weeks and I need to sell my car. I just have no idea how much for. I don’t think the Kelly quote is right because of the condition of the car. I would like to get $1,000, if at all possible.
The facts:
98 Nissan Altima, GLE
Some paint scratches
About 115,000 miles on it (I’d have to check)
Needs $350(at least) in brake work (calipers, rotors, pads)
Power windows and locks
Cloth interior
Front air bags
Dashboard lights do not work (I had to “feel” how fast I was going)
Year old muffler system
CD player does not work, radio does
Needs an oil change and tune-up
Right outer casing of side view mirror is cracked and broken
Cruise control works
Gas tank door does not close very well (it got stuck and I had to literally break into it)
$440 of back frame work done to it about 2.5 years ago..
