Radio Control Flying Wings

ARF radio control aircraft?
I would like to purchase an ARF radio control plane. Flying conditions where i live include a lot of breezy days so I need a stable platform. What kind of radio is recommended if I want to add a digital camera for future use?
I do have some basic requirements.
Electric motor
Reasonable wingspan (36″-48″)
Tricycle landing gear ( dirt road landing strip )
Fairly easy to repair
Stable flyer
Medium speed
Looks not important.
Cargo bay (like to add a digital camera)
Prefer a high wing with a low loading factor
Basic aerobatics (nothing fancy)
I live out in the middle of nowhere so all purchases will be Internet based.
Based on the above what would you recommend?
Since you live in a “rural” area, might I suggest an engine powered plane rather than an electric. The Li-po batteries are still ridiculously expensive!
This will give LONGER flight times and a wider range of aircraft to choose from. (I live in a rural area!)
In a “breezy” area, you should have a larger plane that can handle the breezes, (50 inch+ wingspan. MY only plane with a smaller wingspan is an acrobatic speed plane!)
The most “stable” aircraft is a high-wing “trainer”. They also tend to be slower and easier to control, and are capable of “mild” aerobatics. They also usually have sufficient interior room for a small camera to be added.
I would recommend at least a 6 channel radio, as if it has “fixed” landing gear, you could use that control channel to trigger your camera.
As to repair, how easy depends on how bad the damage. In MANY cases, ESPECIALLY with trainers, you can buy repair parts such as replacement wings.
Suggest you check out various hobby sites such as www.towerhobbies.com. (I buy parts mostly from the stated website as they have a good variety, good prices, and good service. They also have both fuel and electric models to choose from.)
BUT do a search for Airplanes, Radio Control; and variations thereof and you will find many sites.
Fly safely and have a good time.
