Radio Control Drift Car
How do I install a LED light system on my radio controlled car?
I’m young enough to probably be your son so please don’t expect me to know how to this. I don’t want to tell my dad to get my a LED when I don’t know what to do with it, that would be a waste of his money. My car is a drift car 1:10 scale.
First you need to understand LEDs have a polarity, meaning if connected backwords, it won’t work. On an LED the longer lead is the positive connection.
LEDs also need to be current limited so they won’t burn up.
There are several things you need top know about the LED to use the right size current limiting resistor.
