Noise Ordinance Question. (Nazi State)?
After researching my city’s ‘Noise Control’ rules.

Its considered to be a MISDEMEANOR,Max 60 Days Imprisonment, and Fined up to $500.
I think i live in Nazi Germany.
But that’s not my question, if anybody is familiar with laws i could really use some help.
I have sub woofers in my car and if you look at the ordinance sound levels can be a maximum of 70db (I’m sure your stock car radio will go easily above that) while in an industrial zone.
I don’t crank my music up when riding threw neighborhoods. But do these restrictions apply when i’m driving on a main road in my city.
Or on a road like US-1?
Hopefully not, but any extra knowledge would help alot.

These are very touchy subjects when it comes to a “city ordinance”.
Unless it’s a common law in the state, or well posted in your city, which by your post it seems to be, then you have to abide by the ordinance. The old saying ignorance is no excuse does apply here.
But, should you be in another city, state or area where you have no idea of the local laws and ordinances, then you can protest the citation, and usually beat it. You are not expected to stop at every city line and question their laws, and even should you stop and ask for a copy of their laws, chances are they cannot provide them.
