Model Airplane Tissue Covering

Help Please! I think I did something wrong with my plane model!?
I’m building this airplane model from WWII for my history class. And, I started building it two days a go. I didn’t really read all the directions first, then just now I realized that it says “all frames have to cover with tissue before assembly” Well I didn’t do that. Is that good or bad? And what exactly is the tissue!?? Can I just leave it like that?
well, it could still be covered if the frame was glued together but it makes it more difficult. when i use tissue paper for covering, i use a gluestick to hold it down and wet it lightly with rubbing alcohol then heat it with a hairdrier to pull it taught. trim with small scissors and glue the over hanging edge down after.
