Model Airplane Simulators
What are some excellent combat flight simulators for PC?
I have looked at some of the ones available on PC Aviator and Flightsimworld.com and there are some pretty impressive looking models like F-16, F-15, A-10, etc. But I don’t think you get to actually shoot anything with those…I think you just get to fly them. Does anyone know if there are actually military airplane simulations that are as realistic as those I have seen but that actually include a bombing range? I’m not into doing dogfights with people online, except that would be a cool bonus, but I just want a simulator that has accurate systems and weapons capabilities to where I can go blow shiite up…but not being some stupid arcade with inaccurate flight airplanes. Thank you all!
If you’re into a hardcore simulator, you can’t go wrong with Falcon 4.0 Allied Force… you really do get to fire missiles and drop bombs in the campaigns. But this really is a hardcore F-16 flight simulator because it comes with a manual that’s several hundred pages long. It discusses many of the systems and flight characteristics of the aircraft as well as formations and different kinds of missions, etc.
There’s an option where you can dogfight online or participate in campaigns together.
