Model Airplane Online
Where to buy model kits of famous buildings, monuments, etc.?
I know many people have already posted questions about model airplanes, models for science projects, and so on…But I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a decent online store where I could purchase scale models of world renowned buildings/monuments. For instance: The White House, The Pentagon, Golden Gate Bridge, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, The Taj Mahal…you get the general idea. NO 3D PUZZLES, PLEASE. They’re a lot of fun too, but I’d prefer more of a challenge. I would like wooden or brick and mortar models, but plastic is okay too. Thanks in advance for any answers!
I’m UNAWARE of any specific companies or stores that do so… MOST of what I’ve seen are of the puzzle, Lego, or non-scale representations.
I’ve NEVER seen a commercial model of the Pentagon (a rather drab building)
I HAVE done models by doing digital photographs, converting to elevation drawings via Photoshop, and then built them in N-scale with plastic and or bass-wood. I did the San Francisco Ferry Building, and one tower of the SF Bay Bridge in this manner.
