Model Airplane Kits
What company/brand makes more complicated model airplanes to assemble?
I’m thinking of buying a model airplane kit for my boyfriend for Christmas. The problem I see is that most are made for “easy assemble” or only have a few pieces to fit together. Can someone suggest a model airplane that might provide more of a challenge to an adult? I was kind of hoping to go with one of the Wright flyer models if possible…if it were made to where it could actually fly when done, all the better. Thanks a bunch for your answers!
In my opinion, the Japanese models makers (Tamiya, Hasegawa, Fine Molds, Pit Road, among others) make the nicest kits of stationary. plastic models. Here’s what’s available in skill levels 4 and 5, the two highest ones
