Vortex generator animation?
I put 6 vortex generators on the leading edge of one of my paper airplane models and got about 15 more feet out of it compared to the one without the generators installed. I had the advantage of an empty hangar by the way, so I got consistent results. I’m just curious to see how airflow is warped by vortex generators. There are two basic types I think- from what I’ve seen, straight-wing aircraft have the /-patterned ones while swept wing aircraft have single ones spaced at regular intervals like this / / / / That’s the kind I decided to use.
