Model Airplane Foam Wings

Making A Model Airplane, Need Help?
Me and my friend are trying to make an airplane out of random things and need some questions answered.
1. How big of a wingspan would I need compared to the body.
(For this just give me 3 examples of whats good, like for example a 1 in wing span with a 5 in long body.) I Know the bigger the wingspan the better but I need an idea of what would be minimal.
2. Besides styra foam what other thing are good materials for creating a plane.
1. I’m guessing for your 5 inch body that you keep your wingspan above 0 – 5 in’s. I personally would recommend that you use a 6.5 in – 7.5 wing span for best results…
(Question #1 is based on my opinion, not professional advice. However, I think this is a decent answer for the question and I am proud of it)
(Question #2 is very reliable, don’t waste your time with worrying about what else will work because I’ve listed some good suggestions for your plane.)
2. A good idea of materials, listed with pros and cons from observation.
