Model Airplane Design
Scale Model Material?
So like, I’m going to make a scale model of an airplane I designed. What is the easiest material to shape?
(+ I need to shape smooth round corners and make it to the smallest detail)
I have no mold and I need to paint it
Sorry you can’t simply say scale size (oh yes I can I have done etc etc etc) no you can’t as there are any scales 1 to 1 1-72 1-350 1-120 the list is huge, so you want to build ‘let us say’ 1-72 aircraft and you want to know what to use, what’s best, styrene is white plastic, in your local hobby store or on ebay you’re find sheet, strips, tubes you name it. to a certain amount you can bend this, heat it, cut it, its a great building material, but obviously don’t forget you’ll need a plan to work by, this should be in the same scale you’re working in.
