How to calculate correct torque?
Hello, I am trying to build my own electric scooter and I found a motor(emax bl5335) but I am trying to adjust it with a torque converter for maximum speed, but I have no idea what to change the torque to. I calculated the torque of the motor to be 28.14 pounds per foot. I calculated the rpm to be 8,510 at max voltage. Also I calculated the horsepower to be 3.8. I weigh approximatively 120 pounds. I hope this data helps and here are more specs of the motor.
