How Radio Control Works

Im becoming very frustrated with Excel. Im working with radio buttons from the Forms control box.?
I cant make them not be independent. Grouping doesnt do anything and I cant use check boxes. I have two columbs with about 30 radio buttons in each. I want to be able to tick only one radio box in each row but multiple in the columns. No idea how to do this. If you provide email I can send you the document I am working on. Been 2 hours now
If you are using the Forms toolbar without success, try using the Control Toolbox toolbar (ActiveX).
Here is how to do it.
Activate the Control Toolbox toolbar from View > Toolbars.
Create two option buttons on the worksheet.
Size and position them over the first row/columns.
Right click on the first and select Properties.
When the Properties window opens, scroll down to Group Name. It will probably read ‘Sheet1′ or whatever sheet number is active.
Change the value to ‘Row1′ (no quotes), or whatever your first row is. Repeat for the second option button in that row.
With both option buttons having the same group name, they will now operate independently of all other groups.
Repeat the process for each ‘set’, using the row number as the Group Name property.
Note: When done you will have to exit Design Mode on the Control Toolbox toolbar by clicking the triangle, ruler, and pencil icon (far left). To re-enter Design Mode, click the same icon again.
