Futaba Radio Control Sytems Overview
The Futaba radio control elite product line is comprised of 14MZ systems that offer high performance at a very reasonable price.
If you are looking for something with exceptional handling as well as performance, the 4PK 2.4GHz line might be of interest. It is very lightweight at only 1.5 pounds, and its ergonomic design makes it a pleasure to handle. This is considered the flagship of surface systems.
Futaba Radio Control Servos
Futaba also has a very wide range of servos. From general purpose analog servos to programmable servos, robot servos and digital servos, they have something for practically every imaginable need. In addition to standard servos, they also have servo horns, servo gear sets, servo case sets, wheel drill gauges, bearing conversion kits, and brushless digital servos. Futaba actually leads the industry with brushless digital servos.
Their line of brushless servos offers servos that last at least five times longer than brushed servos. They are blazing fast, with up to 30% faster response time. They also have a much greater resistance to vibration and bumps and jolts. Plus, they consume the same amount of power as brushed servos, are exceptionally durable with very strong gear trains and cases, and their performance is second to none.
Futaba FASST Products
One of their most popular product lines is the FASST line. They are 2.4GHz radio systems that are almost totally free of interference and thus have incredibly sharp resolution and true real-time response. These systems are in use in many different types of commercial radio control devices, and the Spektrum 3-channel MR3000 Marine receiver has even been specially engineered and optimized for marine use.
While other manufacturers have been unable to get their 2.4GHz controllers to even work on water, this FASST model works unbelievably well! You can even expand your channel options from 3 to 14!
The FASST line offers twice as much data, nine times the speed, and eight times the resolution. This means that the controls will be incredibly smooth and fast, allowing for extremely quick response times and consistency. If you have been disappointed with the accuracy and reliability of previous receivers you have tried, you will love this line. You’ll experience little to no interference, a wide range for use at larger race tracks, and the auto-detect feature will save you time by determining whether HRS or PPM mode is active from the transmitter.
Futaba for Carbon Fiber Fuselages
If you create equipment with carbon-fiber fuselages, you will really like the receivers in the FASST line. The FASST product line contains the world’s first carbon-fiber specific receivers for RC. These receivers are designed specifically for carbon-fiber fuselages. They also have receivers with Dual Antenna Diversity, which allows the antenna to extend outside the fuselage!
