ePSXe Final fantasy 8 keeps freezing?
everytime i get to the end of ragnarok (after killing all the monsters and now in the control room, someone on the radio says ‘ragnarok you’re home free’ ) the game always freezes, but what is odd is the characters are still blinking and the stars and planets outside are still moving. how do i fix this???
I had the exact same issue. I am using epsxe 1.60 and Pete’s OpenGL2 Driver 2.9. I exited epsxe and configured Pete’s Open GL2 Driver Plugin to match the setting on this forum post: http://forums.emulator-zone.com/showthread.php?t=12697. Note: The post’s version of the plugin is older, but the setting should be similar. When I reload the game, the dialog text became unreadable, but it didn’t freeze after the ‘ragnarok you’re home free’. I let it play through and resaved the game when I had control again. Afterwards, I returned all the plugin settings to what I had before and reloaded the game. The text went back to normal.
