daylight saving time-my stupid watch!?
i had turned DST on in my casio illuminator watch 2747- AW80. But it didn’t change its time automatically today in the morning (europe). what’s the purpose of turning DST on if i have to manually change an hour in every summer and winter for adjusting time? I didn’t get this function. I thought the watch is radio controlled and changes time automatically. Does anybody know about it? Any info is highly appreciated!
it’s not an atomic clock
and u can even find the pdf version of the manuel in web for the model said above. basically, you can either add DST or remove it, but i don’t know when to add and when to remove. thanks for the support.
If this is one of those ‘Atomic’ watches, (sets time automatically), you may be out of range of a good signal. I believe you said Europe. In the US, the signal comes from Colorado. Many times I have a poor signal. It usually resets late at night. Was this watch bought in the UK? Is it set up for a specific radio signal in Europe? If it not an Atomic watch, it should change the time automatically, at the proper Date. Make sure you set it up right. Casio is usually pretty good at this..Many are confusing at the set up, from the tiny print in those books.
