Applying Model Airplane Tissue
Help what is the difference!?!?!?
i am making a model airplane out of balsa wood and i needed something called
CLEAR DOPE
so i could wrap the airplane in the tissue after i apply this thing.
my mom bought me something called
PIPE JOINT COMPOUND (the clerk said this is good or something)
are they the same or not

Dope is a type of paint that causes the tissue to shrink and tighten when it dries. Clear is the color. Clear is lightest weight of all the colors, but not necessarily the prettiest.
You can buy it at hobby shops, or perhaps over the internet. You could google it.
Some toy places and department stores carry it, but most likely, need to go to a model shop.
